SUSPENSION
We have more knowledge and experience than most other shops in the Denver Metro Area and you can trust us to determine which suspension setup will work for your needs and your budget.
Suspension is wide ranged – no OEM engineering is the same and we understand that. For 40 years we’ve serviced and customized all 4x4 makes and models so we have the experience to fit your needs. Steering, wheels & tires, and drivability diagnosis also fall into this realm. We focus on performance upgrades that fit your wants; whether rock crawling, desert running, overlanding, full custom designs or just street aesthetics - we can do it all.
We only use parts that work at High Country Performance 4x4 and when it comes to suspension, we only use the best brands in the business. Teraflex, Carli Suspension, AEV Conversions, Toytec, King Off-Road Racing Shocks, and Deaver Springs are just a few of the brands that we provide for our customers.

When it comes to upgrading or repairing your driveline the choices can be overwhelming sometimes... Fortunately for our customers we have been building custom 4x4 vehicles for over 40 years and in that time, we have learned what works, and what doesn’t.
Added bigger tires or just want more power? We can help. From re-gears to engine swaps, we can get the power back. Axles too weak? We can upgrade them so you can hammer down. Our extensive experience combined with your needs and wants will get your rig to perform beyond your expectations. We also offer basic maintenance services to keep your vehicle running smoothly. We offer mileage-based maintenance packages, and complete vehicle inspection packages as well.

LIGHTING AND ELECTRONICS
The last thing you want to think about when you are off the grid is whether or not your lights, radio, or GPS unit will work when you need them. In the 40+ years we have been building off-road vehicles we have learned how to help you choose the right electronic components that will make your off-road adventures fun, safe, and worry free.
Upgraded factory lighting, aftermarket auxiliary lighting, CB radios, GPS navigation aids, solar panels, race communication systems, auxiliary power systems, dual battery setups, switch panels, tuners, programmers, speedometer calibrators, whatever... We do it all here at High Country, and when we do it you can count on a clean and professional installation.
We only use electronics from reliable manufacturers that we trust like Baja Designs, Rigid Industries, Cobra Electronics, JW Speaker, Cobb Tuning, Switch Pros, Rugged Radios, Garmin, and Morimoto just to name a few.
BUMPERS, ARMOR, AND PROTECTION
Nothing exposes those vulnerable parts of your vehicle like taking it off-road... Once you have spent some time out on the trails you quickly learn that you will need some extra protection to keep your rig from turning into a beater. It doesn’t matter what kind of adventures you are taking in your vehicle, we can get you the gear to help protect your vehicle.
Whether it’s bumpers, fender liners, rock sliders, tire carriers, skid plates, or any other accessory built to protect your rig, we have installed it and, in many cases, we have tested them out on our own rigs. We know what works and what doesn’t, and we can work with you and within your budget to get you the protective gear you need.

We take wheels and tires seriously here at High Country Performance 4x4 and we work closely with all of the top brands in the business. We can help you make the right choice when it comes to not only getting the exact style of wheel you want, but also getting the correct fitment for your vehicle and suspension setup.
When it comes to alignment, we believe it’s crucial and it should always be considered as the final step of any suspension job. We have two state of the art Hunter Alignment racks here at High Country and our technicians are trained and up to date on all alignment techniques. If you are thinking about getting your off-road vehicle built at a shop that doesn’t have an alignment machine you might want to think twice about that...
At High Country we can get you just about any wheel and tire you can think of and make sure that your vehicle gets aligned correctly while you are here. RECOVERY, OVERLAND, AND ADVENTURE GEAR
Recovery gear is the stuff that you hope you never need but you don't want to get stuck out on the trails without it. At High Country Performance 4x4 we can get you whatever you need to get you and your vehicle closer to the adventure and back home safely...
We keep our showroom stocked with all the recovery gear you might need. Whether it’s the latest on-board air systems and accessories from ARB and Power Tank, or a Warn winch we can get you what you need. We also keep a large selection of RotoPax gear, Factor 55 goodies, and a plethora of traction boards, jacks, straps, ropes, shackles, gloves, fire extinguishers, winch ropes, and just about anything else you might need if you get stuck.
As far as keeping you comfortable while you are off the grid, we can get you whatever type of overland or adventure gear you might need. Rooftop tents, canopies, roof racks, fridges, freezers, and coolers, solar and portable power systems, in bed/in cab storage solutions, and even cookware, kitchen, and stove gear. You name it, we can probably get it for you.
