91 Jeep YJ Rock Crawler

This is a heavy duty rock crawler that is also street legal. It is very well built and reliable. This jeep has been all over Colorado and Utah.
* Motor: factory 4.0L HO with red top dry cell battery and a York air compressor
*Transmission: jeep three speed auto with a shift kit and a B&M shifter with transmission cooler
*Transfercase: 4.31:1 Atlas II with the twin shifter and heavy duty in put and out put shafts
*Drive Shafts: Both were built by Tom Woods custom drive shafts and have 1350 off set u joints that have worked very well for me.
*Rear Axle: is a full width 14 bolt with 4.56 gears, Detroit locker, disk brakes and HD diff cover
*Front Axle: full width ford king pin Dana 60 with 4.56 gears, Detroit locker, disk brakes, custom diff cover, 35 spline outer shafts and warn drive flanges
*Wheels and Tires: 39.5x12.5r17 BFG red label crawlers mounted on 17 inch Trail Ready bead locks
*Steering: Comes with hydro assist crossover steering with cooler that works very well
*Front suspension: 2.5in lifted Alcan leaf springs sprung over and stretched 7 inches, jonny joints in both ends of the spring. Shackle reversal kit and Bilstein shocks
*Rear suspension: 2.5 inch lifted Alcan leaf springs sprung over factory length, with Rancho shocks
* Interior: custom roll cage with door bars, best top bucket seats with five point harnesses and two tuffy lock boxes with speakers.
*Winch: 8500 pound warn winch with multi mount that’s wired to the front and rear
*Other: custom tube front fenders tied into the rock sliders, front bumper that is an air tank, PIAA off road lights.
*Trailer: Asking $1500 for 14 foot flat bed trailer that has been customized to fit this jeep. Trailer has large aluminum storage box mounted on tongue.

FOR SALE: A 2001 Jeep Wrangler Sport with 92K miles. I've had this vehicle for 4 years and 3 months ago (June 2008) I did 30K worth of upgrades. These upgrades were done more for looks, as the Jeep hasn't been in any intense offroad situations, other than a few 2 track trips. Jeep has a 6 in. Teraflex longarm suspension with Teraflex shocks. Also has a brand new Dynatrac Trail Series Dana 60 in the Rear with an ARB Air Locker and upgraded larger disc brakes while the front is a Super 30 Dana 30 with 32 Spline Shafts and an ARB Air Locker with Dynatrac Diff. Cover. Jeep has 37x13.50x18 Toyo Open Country MT's with a fullsize matching spare, mounted on 18 in Poison Spyder Spyderlock Beadlock wheels. Also equipped with an AEV hood, Five Star Crawler front bumper, and also added in June 2008 are the Poison Spyder Rear Crusher Flares and Rear Stinger. 70 3/4 ton Dodge Powerwagon for sale. It has a 383 w/cam one step hotter than an RV, Mopar electronic ignition, 4bbl Edelbrock, 727 with shift kit. The truck runs well. I had it power tuned on a dyno. It has 3:55 gears. It basically needs finished. I have emblems, bumpers, marker lights to finish the job. I originally bought this Jeep as a project and have put a lot of work into it. When I originally bought the Jeep, it was being used as a daily driver and I have since installed and upgraded many components. I've since bought a Jeep Wrangler and need to free up garage space. I bought this Jeep about 1.5 years ago and have only logged a few hundred miles (if that) since then. I've invested more money into this than what I am asking.
The Jeep is, in general, in great condition. It can still be used as a daily driver and would be very capable off-road. Jeep passed emissions test as recently as June of this year. There is some rust on the rocker panels, which seems to be normal for a vehicle this age, but that's it. I believe the Jeep has lived it's entire life in Colorado, thus the good condition of the body. The drum brakes should probably be serviced and the front wheel bearings are a bit worn. I haven't done the brake or wheel bearing service yet because I was planning on replacing the front drums with disc brakes, which would address both issues. If the Jeep hasn't been driven for a few days, as with most carburated engines, it takes a little pumping of the gas to get started. The Jeep has a safari top only. Bestop makes a replacement soft top, and you can typically find a used hard top on the web. A hard top will fit over the rollcage, but will need a little bit of modification, as the rear hoops extend about .5" past where the hard top sits in the rear. I believe a soft top should fit without any issues, though.
Things that have been done by previous owners:
- The engine seems to have been rebuilt within the last few years. It runs strong without any issues.
- A spring over axle conversion has been done. This means the leaf springs, which normally sit under the axles, now sit over the axles. This increases the ride height by about 5.5 inches. Related steering components were upgraded to accomodate the new ride height.
- New gas tank. Not sure if it is a custom tank, or a stock replacement, but it's definitely new.
- Wiring has been redone at some point.
- Entire jeep exterior has been repainted flat black. The dash and hood interior are still the original color, which is an orange color. I believe the original color name is "Butterscotch Gold".
Things that I have done in the time I've owned the Jeep:
- Installed a custom 6 point rollcage, tied into the frame. The cage around the dash area is laser cut to allow full functionality of all dashboard components and to minimize the space used by the cage. Install was done by High Country 4x4.
- Installed a Motorcraft 2100 carb with electric choke. This carburateur is known as an excellent off road carb and is much more reliable than the originally carb.
- Valve cover gasket and transmission oil pan gasket recently replaced. Transmission oil recently replaced. Full differential service performed, gaskets, seals and fluids replaced. There are no leaks at all.
- Brand new radiator.
- Bilstein 5125 10" shocks with custom shock mounts and towers. Also upgraded the shackles. This really "finished" the spring over axle conversion that the previous owner had done. This, in addition to the rollcage tied into the frame, really cleaned up the handling and drive comfort. This work was done by High Country 4x4.
- Durabak bedliner on the entire interior. The bedliner rolls over the lip of the Jeep, adding protection to the top exterior, too.
- Custom full safari top.
- VW GTI seats. The seats are wired to be heated. I was going to get these seat heaters working eventually, but hadn't researched what it would take to get working.
- Replaced all tie rod ends up front.
- Brand new Deka Intimidator battery. This is a great offroad battery. It is an AGM (absorbed glass mat) dual purpose battery that is completely spillproof and leakproof. Comparable to Optima YellowTop and RedTop batteries.
- 3 point shoulder seat belts. Originally, had lap belts only.
- New ignition starter.

1957 Jeep Willys CJ-3B

A very clean 1957 Jeep CJ-3B. It stopped running in 1976 and was garage kept from 1977 until about 2006. Currently it is stored under a quality, breathable car cover in a relatively dry climate. It is in the same condition as it was when it came out of storage in 2006. As it sits it has a non-running Buick 198 V6, T90 transmission and Dana 18 transfer case with a Warn overdrive. It also has a PTO winch, factory Jeep Whitco soft top, 11" brakes and Hudson steering. My intent was to try to restore it to its condition as it was in the '70s with a few upgrades. The new, uninstalled parts included with the Jeep are a Buick 225 V6 (it still needs balance and assembly), Performance Distributor HEI, Advance Adapters motor mounts. Superlift/Black Diamond suspension, 5 BF Goodrich mud terrain KOs on 16" white spoke wheels. A new factory hood and windshield frame (the AMC dealer labels are still on them!) A custom built frame modeled off the poison spider chassis Bruiser. It’s a combination of .120/ .135/ .150 all DOM mandrel bent tubing and professionally welled.
